Fall 2008 Division 1 Tryouts
For the Fall 2008 season, we will once again be holding tryouts for all of our division 1 teams (U10 Coed, U12 Coed, U12 Girls, U14 Coed, U14 Girls). Each tryout will be run by the coaching staff for that gender/age group, and that staff will be responsible for selecting their division 1 team.
It is expected that players who wish to play on their division 1 team will attend both tryouts. It is mandatory that they attend at least one of the tryouts. Players who do not attend at least one of their tryouts will not be placed on their division 1 teams. Exceptions to this will have to be granted by a majority vote of the board of directors. Such exceptions will only be granted in extreme cases (injury, illness, etc.).
Your age group is determined by your age as of August 31, 2008. For example, a player who is 12 on July 7 will need to go to the U-14 tryout.
A player does not have to be registered for the Fall 2008 season to participate in the tryout (Fall 2008 registration does not close until July 1).
Players not selected for division 1 teams will be placed on appropriate division 2/3 teams.
