  Passing Patch Program

 Urbana Soccer Passer Patch

Urbana Soccer Association Passers List

Starting with the Fall 2006 season, we are adopting a passing patch program to reward players, as they become better and better passers of the ball.

Patches will be awarded at the following levels:

  • 10 passes - USA Passer center patch and #10 patch
  • 25 passes - #25 patch
  • 50 passes - #50 patch
  • 75 passes - #75 patch
  • 100 passes - #100 patch

To be eligible for a patch, passes must be done as follows:

  • Passes must be done on one of the wooden rebounding walls.
  • Passes must be done in front of a coach.
  • You must alternate left and right footed passes.
  • Ball cannot stop and must come back beyond the 2-yard line painted in front of the wall.
  • Passes must be done consecutively.

The #100 patch completes the circle around the USA Passer center patch and is the culmination of the patch program (see picture above).

Patches are sized so that they can be sewn onto the lower right leg of a player's game shorts. Of course, the player can sew them on their bag, jacket - anything that makes them proud of their great passing ability.
